The United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) adopted draft resolution E/2018/L.15, Strategic Framework on Geospatial Information and Services for Disasters on 2 July 2018.
The draft resolution was expertly facilitated by the Permanent Missions of Jamaica and the Philippines.
The Resolution with Strategic Framework in all UN languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish) is attached for your information and circulation to all your partners and stakeholders, who should be encouraged to adopt and implement the strategic framework as needed.
