Peter Zeil is a Senior Consultant and Co-founder of Spatial Services Ltd based in Austria. He has 32+ years of professional experience in space applications; formerly at the Department for Geoinformation, University of Salzburg, Austria.

Peter holds a master’s degree in Geophysics. His main areas of expertise include good knowledge of the European Commission EC and African Union Commission AUC, EU and AU policies and regulatory frameworks relevant to Space; EU development cooperation programs and the work of EU delegations; the design, implementation and evaluation of programs and projects in the area of space applications and Earth Observation in Africa, Asia, and Europe.

Peter is a long-term member of the African Association for Remote Sensing of the Environment (AARSE) Board of Trustees.
